So listen up, how does adding live chat to a website sound? I a niche website had a live chat in the bottom right corner, and everyone on the site could type in that chat globally. (Is this even possible?)

I like the idea but I dont think its feasible because it would be too easy to spam
and requiring registration wouldnt really make a difference since it takes all of 5 minutes to make an these days instead of the 2-3 days it used to back when the s did the approval process manually

It's being addressed. You can just give moderating rights to some chat , they can only delete messages and kick participants out of the chat.
And then there will not be much spam.
But this is all theory
