The other baby said, some believe yes and others don't. But no one has returned from the birth to tell us.
As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the only proof of life after death. And if he didn't physically die and come back, everything is just superficial.

Your reason is valid as God is and always will be the alpha.
But a point would be that eternal life or material are craved by mostly those who have abandoned God.

Jesus comes offering eternal life. The water of life that whoever drinks will never thirst again. I think the righteous and sinners share this desire.
I a story where Jesus entered a cave of lepers and healed them. Each one returned to their home, but only one came back to follow Jesus.
That's how it is with people who cleanse themselves of sin but return to the same cycle of death. It's impossible to desire eternal life while clinging to material life, because material life leads to death.

I am mentally incapable of choosing favorites because of an OCD disorder I have.
