Is it possible to work within a broken system to fix it, or does participating in it just make you another part of the problem?
And a follow-up: when every option is compromised, what do we actually owe the people around us? Is showing up and doing something small enough? Or is that just a comfortable excuse for not burning it all down?
This isn't about politics in the abstract. It's more of an individual question. When you know the game is rigged and you still have to live in it, what does a decent person actually do?
And when we do those small good things inside a system we know is rotten, are we healing it, or just cutting the leaves of a tree that needs to come down?
While playing this game, in a certain area you have to sit in a chair while you have a conversation with a character that isn't very happy with the things you've done, so the thing is, the chair is so uncomfortable and the situation is so demoralising, that if you don't have enough stats (endurance or morale), this situation can k!ll you.
I'm fine, I think everyone had their heart broken at some point at their lifes. I was thinking about that.
When people say things like heavy heart or heart in pain and you first think is just a way of express yourself, but then it happens to you and you realize it's a physical thing all along. I think the heart is constantly reminding us when something is wrong.
I've seen idiots believe in such lies that they have no words but that which has been said before them. I don't wish for my older sis to be one but she's been out the lectures and classes that she believes in she thinks she is. I hope for your sky to be clear and the sun to be cool that you find your path even if iit's the red road. I miss you sis
Question everything. An ideal first put to me by my father, cemented by my experience, learned through research. If you cannot explain or justify an opinion or idea, then don't express it. If attacked, your defense should not be "so-and-so told me, so it must be true."
If something is obviously true and needs no justification, or just doesn't matter one way or the other, why question it? If it is true, and obviously at that, don't. The sky is up, the ground is down. The Earth is round. Etc. If it doesn't matter/affect you, question it so that you may better learn how to question what does matter. An amazing section of an amazing book, How Not To Be Wrong, portrays this quite well. The less mathematically minded might not like it, but it is quite a good guide on, well, how not to be wrong.
I hope your sister finds a good life, a good road, and a good mind. May she have what she needs, and the opportunities for what she wants. Good luck to you all, and may you all receive evey blessing.
Low key, I don’t think this is true. I’d say it’s easier to love someone else if you think less of yourself (think of a yandere situation). Instead, when you love yourself, you can love others on a deeper level.
So I saw a Reddit post last week about Ursula K legion’s “the ones who walk away from Omelas” and it fucking sucked (the Reddit comments). If you’ve read the story before, what’s your take on it?
Imma be real, I am attempting, badly, to convert you all to the love of god. Figured I might as well spread love to those who get hate, help those who need it, idk. But for real, where are you at/ what do you think about religion? As an idea, as a proof of concept, whatever. Just curiosity. And wanting to know how much effort I will need for this.
Feel free to ignore my dips*** crusade and just answer it as a philosophical question. But He loves you, and I think you are some of the best to learn that. He was a god who broke bread with tax collectors and sinners. He came for those that need the help but don't want it. Just trying to, in a way I think I can do, spread love.

The happiness of your life depends on quality of your thoughts

Idk man, I just know I really had fun watching you suffer through that game
Dying because the chair was too uncomfortable was certainly a weird experience.

You put your right foot in,
I don’t think that’s what it’s all about
You put your left foot in,
You take your left foot out;
You put your left foot in,
And you shake it all about.
You do the Hokey Pokey,
And you turn yourself around.
That's what it's all about!
There’s more. They’re hiding it from us
That's what it's all about!
before you can love another, you must love yourself.

God created us just to have something to watch while gooning. All He does is masturbate and kill us when we get boring.

I think you might be too thin-skinned to post about God on a porn forum.
Not thin skinned, just had a bad day and that was the first response I got, and therefore saw. I didn't mean to overreact, if I even did.
