Something interesting happened when I was going through my s, adding and adjusting tags turns out when you've previously ed something but it's not in the moderation queue and you edit something it just gets added to the moderation queue with none of the changes so it looks like nothing has been changed, in order to actually change and add tags you then need to go into your in the moderation queue and add the tags there and then those changes stick.
