So what Im assuming from before was that every is automatically placed into inspection by the modmins and awaiting approval. The VIP status skips this and they automatically get their post past inspection phase and straight to visibility. The problem with that is when a post gets approved, the post is placed in order of when it was submitted, not when it was approved. Thats a problem for visibility when someone's post was approved several days later and by that point there have been many s and now their post is on a whole other second page.
So when the update happened where posts can now be updated/edited, you set it so that posts still have to go through approval for editing (which again, im telling you this doesnt make any sense for VIP status) and you fixed the post to be in order of modmin approval instead of submission. The problem is that this created a bug where anyone with VIP status gets their post submitted twice: One where its auto-approved, and the other where its waiting approval by modmins. You can see here the s labeled "Kit and Scratch Modded", "Loona's Tentacle Trouble", and "Erolive Shiori Novella" are already submitted and live, but are awaiting approval. That means if the posts are approved by modmins, they would be moved up on the list, which means VIP get double visibility. Ive noticed this for myself, and for Ova, who i know has VIP status
I also noticed that this also affects s who delete s. s Spoink Bim and God Himself have both recently deleted their . This means all of their old s have now been changed to "ed by Anonymous". But because this change counts as an auto-approved edit, that means the entire section is flooded with all of their old s with the names updated, God Himself specifically since hes posted a lot.
