Males fuck multiple females, females fuck multiple males, even if they have paired up with a specific rabbit already, like you often see in captives, its more tagteaming with a mate you trust to keep you from getting eaten by something or attacked by another rabbit then love. Because of the same hormone thing they do not go for anything under about the age of maturity, young rabbits emmit a sort of "dont touch this"-smell.
