Not a bad comic, but that skateboard on the pages one through three, specifically the trucks (which are, in laymen’s , the things holding the wheels) should be at somewhere around a 45 degree angle. The kind of trucks the artist was trying to replicate are what I believe to be traditional kingpin trucks. These work by having a pivot cup, which a part of the axel sits in, and the bushing, those pink little circle thingys on the rear of the axels. The reason they have to be at an angle is so that for every degree of rotation that the board makes, (side to side rotation) the trucks rotate that same amount. Less angle equals more rotation in the trucks, for less in the board, and vice versa. 90 degrees however doesn’t work because there’s no force shoving it into the ground, allowing the trucks to rotate infinitely, without any rotation from the board. If you’ve read this, I thank you for your time and hope you have a wonderful day.
