Glock’s whole thing was high capacity, so limiting to 10 rounds meant there was really no point to the extra size of the 17 and 19, at least to the people conceal carrying, so Glock created the 26. The 26c didn’t make it however because the compensating cuts caused jams and intense, blinding fireballs with the 3.6” barrel.
