The Tokarev TT-33 holds 8 rounds of 7.62x25 Tokarev and appears to take some aesthetic design cues from the 1911. With an 85gr bullet out of an 11.75 inch length barrel, you can expect a velocity of around 1850fps, although, of course, out of the Tokarev TT-33’s approximately 4.6 inch barrel length, expect much lower velocity, about 1500-1600fps. With a 40gr projectile out of a 4.8 inch barrel, 5.7x28 achieves around 1800fps, being a more modern, lightweight bullet design.
