Just appreciate the art. If you goon to art then you just goon for the art. The themes and ideas are just extra. The artist just happens to help jerk you off if you want to think bout that. Besides does it necessarily have to be people I've seen folks goon to inanimate objects with a face akin to sausage party so it's not necessarily have to be

To get something you never had, you must do something you’ve never done.

If the world changes and declares your way of life obsolete, are you free to follow your own law, or are you doomed to be seen as a monster for not fitting into the new morality?

John Moses Browning's picture

Is this not the question proposed by the Red Dead Redemption saga?

One of many.

I see that you are good on catching rdr things. .

RDR is a good place for philosophy ideas. As Dutch once said “This place.. ain’t no such thing as ‘civilized.’ It’s man, so in love with greed, he has forgotten himself, and found only appetites.”

Personally, I prefer the questions that come when you play as John

If a man changes, but the world still punishes him for who he was. Was the change worthless, or was the world simply unwilling to it that justice and revenge look the same from a distance?

Your previous behaviour already answers the question you posed. Unless you are trying to be humble rn and claiming to be fallible.

Everybody has a different answer than mine, so I'm curious of how others might approach the questions I make.

Can you imagine how it must be being blind, have surgery to regain your sight, and then find out you're colorblind?

That's the feeling I get when I buy a game and discover I have to pay for each character separately in DLC packs.

Unfortunately, people who are born blind or become blind young and later regain vision are still unable to see in a way that improves on blindness. Their visual cortex never develops properly and is co-opted by the brain for other things. Oliver Sacks wrote an essay in one of his books about patients with congenital cataracts who got a newly developed surgery as adults and never developed useful vision.

I lowkey think jerking off gets a negative rep its just a way of releasing sexual energy but the bad parts are "overconsumption" but thats the same with anything lowkey gotta get jerking off a PR team

Do you guys think Steven from Steven Universe is a good example of masculinity?

The show was written by the most rabid of feminists.... the answer is obvious

No

Yes

Mister Greenfeld's picture

I really like Steven's portrayal of masculinity. He'd always rather talk than fight, and is comfortable having and expressing strong emotions, but does so without being portrayed as weak or a sissy. He can also heal and summon a shield, powers stereotypically given to female characters, but does so without the show making him seem effeminate.

What does it mean to be strong?

Local Heretic's picture
ed: 17/03/2026

All I know is that mercy requires strength. To show mercy, you must have the power, ability, and reason to end/hurt the person. You must then have the further strength of forgiveness.

Women are hot but women are also retarded. Such is the burden of the straight man.

"such a burden of the straight man"

what an incel comment 💀

Zoroark's picture

That take says more about your resentment than about women. Attraction does not have to come with contempt. If you genuinely feel that way, the issue is not women. 😬

Anonymous
God Himself.'s picture

What are you talking about nigga? What resentment? Did you feel attacked or something?

Zoroark's picture
ed: 08/05/2026

I am just pointing out what you wrote. You called an entire group of people retarded while also saying you are attracted to them. That is not a neutral observation. That is contempt dressed up as honesty. If you do not see the resentment in that, then you are not paying attention to your own words or you are entitled to your chud opinion. Attraction without respect is just objectification. And calling it a burden does not make it less insulting. It just makes it more honest about how you actually see them, dumbass.

Anonymous
God Himself.'s picture

You are the exact kind of retarded i mean. Getting all offended and feeling the need to demonstrate your "moral superiority". I dont see another reason for you to get worked up like that. Upper middleclass white woman behaviour. I bet you have one of those pointless english degrees. Never wanting to lose an argument and doubling and tripling down. I bet your boyfriend (or future boyfriend) is some pussywhipped wimp that likes it up the ass. I truly feel bad for that guy. I only have contempt for people like you and not all of them. dumbass

Anonymous
God Himself.'s picture

You point out what you think i wrote. I get that you are offended but really, unironically using chud? Cmon

Zoroark's picture
ed: 08/05/2026

You are right. "Chud" was unnecessary. I will give you that. But the point still stands. You called women retarded. That is what you wrote. If you are going to complain about how I say it, at least address what you said. Deflect all you want. The words came from you, not me.

Asexual people are legitimately strange to me. Sexuality is just such a central part of the human experience. Like what do they do all day?

Zoroark's picture
ed: 08/05/2026

That says more about you than about them. Sex may seem to be a central part of life, but not everyone lives the same way. People find meaning in many things.

If you cannot imagine a full life without sex, that is your limit, not theirs.

Anonymous
God Himself.'s picture

Its not just sex. Its attraction and perception of beauty. Its the longing for intimate companionship. And its a strong driving force for many. Dont be reductive.

Zoroark's picture
ed: 08/05/2026

Attraction, beauty, and intimacy are real and powerful forces. I am not denying that. But my point still stands: they are central to some people experiences, not to everyone's. For some people, those drives are weaker or absent, and they still live meaningful lives. You called them strange. I am just saying they are not broken. They are just wired differently. That is not reductive. That is respecting difference.

Anonymous
God Himself.'s picture

You seem to really be hung up on the idea that this was some attack on asexual people (wich it wasnt). But since we are already here lets ask something more pointed. At what point should a mental ailment treated? Do we respect the differences schizophrenic

Anonymous
God Himself.'s picture

(Fuck i accidentaly pressed send). Do we respect the differences schrizophrenics have compared to healthy people? What about manic depressive people? How much of an impairment of daily life justifies an attempt to remedy the condition? How much of an impairment is a missing sex drive? Is it really "just a difference"? (Not to mention that asexuality is mostly caused by either trauma or a consequence of morbid obesity impairing sexual functions). Do those people not deserve the experience of love?
